My visit in last June...
It looks quite out of place for a model to be in the centre of Ramana Ashram and romantically revealing the beauty. Too odd a place, yes, it happened on last Saturday …..My self and my wife,Lakshmi reached Tiruvannamali around 3”O clock and settled in Ramana Towers (lodge) after depositing our Sunny (pet)in Animal shelter. The summer was yet to fade in this arid place and the afternoon was still blowing hot winds. Immediately after settling in lodge, we had decided to visit Ramana ashram and later proceed for Giripradakshina. It was around 4 O’ Clock, after circumambulation of Samadhi and visiting Mathru temple, we settled in veranda just outside book stall. This part of Ashram is generally cool with top covered with palm leaves. There were several pea hens and peacocks knit picking in the compound right in front of us, which is a common sight here. Suddenly, a cool breeze swept the area as if a divine air conditioner was switched on, much to the relief of all. When soothing and cool whiff gently blowing, one of the peacocks gracefully opened its full plumage spreading the grandeur around. It was a rare sight and everyone around was taken by pleasant surprise and started hurriedly pulling out whatever they have, a cell phone, camera or i-pad to record the event. But the bird elegantly started walking, like a voluptuous model, down the ramp- signalling that everyone gets a chance to enjoy and snap him. By then, all rooky cameramen circled around and started clicking. And without wasting time I pulled out my point and shoot, cyber-shot camera.

Here are the photos of that
pea-guy.
But what my mind recorded is, this peacock did not play to gallery- it just reacted to natural stimuli, the cool breeze and opened up the plumage. A true karma yogi and it deserves to be in Ashram,.-
